2005 Club Car

by james
(south carolina)

I have a 2005 club car where the charger quit working.

I took it to the shop the owner who said the computer was bad and replaced it.

I took it home and put it on charge and 6 hours later went outside to check on it and the charger was still running but so hot you could not touch it.

I unplugged it and the batteries were completely charged.

I took it back to the shop and the owner said he thought the charger was bad.

He hooked it up to another cart and it charged the batteries and cut off.

He now does not know what the problem is and thinks that the parts company may have sent him the wrong computer.

Which is also what he said when he did not have it ready on schedule.

Any one have any ideas?
