Hello

Uneven Golf Cart Tire Tread - What Does It Mean?

Lately I noticed that the tire wear on the front tires of my golf cart was different from the rear tires. Tire wear can be a normal condition or it might mean that there is something wrong with your cart. Uneven wear on the front tires can be a sign that you have a problem.

If you hit a curb, find a hole, or drive over a large bump too fast you can knock the front end out of alignment. An easy way to check alignment is to drive on a flat surface and lightly let go of the golf cart steering wheel. If the cart veers to the left or right your front end is probably out of alignment.

Incorrect tire pressure is another cause of uneven tire wear. If your tires are not inflated correctly you can have more problems than just uneven treads. Find out what happens when your tires are not inflated properly and how to ensure that your tires are at the correct PSI.
